Embraer Delivers 62 Aircraft in Q3, Order Book Expands

  • Embraer delivered 62 aircraft in 3Q25, slightly up from last year’s 59.
  • The E195-E2 and Phenom 300 led commercial and executive jet deliveries.

Embraer delivered 62 aircraft in the third quarter of 2025, a slight increase from 61 in the previous quarter and 59 in the same period last year. The figure included 20 commercial jets and 41 executive jets, with the E195-E2 and the Phenom 300 once again leading their respective categories.

The result keeps the Brazilian manufacturer on a steady trajectory as it works toward its full-year guidance of 77 to 85 commercial jets and 145 to 155 executive jets. That will require a strong final quarter, but Embraer has historically concentrated deliveries toward year-end—in 2024, it closed with 75 deliveries in the final three months, bringing the annual total to 206 aircraft.

Commercial Jets

In commercial aviation, Embraer handed over 20 jets in the quarter, of which 11 were E195-E2s. The figure compares with 19 deliveries in the second quarter and 16 in the same period of 2024, showing steady progress in the company’s largest aircraft programme.

Beyond the quarter’s numbers, Embraer has secured significant new business that will contribute to future results.

In September, LATAM Airlines Group placed an order for up to 74 E195-E2s, including 24 firm deliveries scheduled to begin in 2026 and 50 options, with the airline stating the fleet will allow it to expand its Brazilian domestic network by up to 30 new destinations.

South African carrier Airlink has begun inducting aircraft under a lease agreement with Azorra, with three of the ten E195-E2s already delivered following South African certification earlier this year, and the remainder due through 2027.

Meanwhile, Azorra also delivered Australia’s first E190-E2 to Virgin Australia in September 2025, marking Embraer’s entry into the country’s domestic market, with further aircraft due over the next year.

In North America, Avelo Airlines signed a firm order for 50 E195-E2s, with options for 50 more. Deliveries are set to start in 2027, marking a breakthrough order for the type in the U.S. low-cost sector.

These contracts lifted Embraer’s commercial backlog to US$13.1 billion by mid-2025, its highest in eight years, providing visibility for the years ahead.

Executive Jets Hold Steady

Executive aviation matched last year’s performance, with 41 deliveries in the quarter compared with 41 in 3Q24 and 38 in 2Q25. The Phenom 300 accounted for 20 of these handovers, continuing its run as the world’s best-selling light jet for more than a decade.

Earlier in 2025, Embraer marked the delivery of its 2,000th business jet, a Praetor 500, highlighting the scale it has reached in the corporate segment. Demand has been supported by operators such as Flexjet and a robust charter market, enabling the executive division to maintain a consistent delivery pace.

Outlook

With 62 aircraft handed over in 3Q25, Embraer now faces the task of accelerating production in the final quarter to meet its annual targets. Based on the company’s track record and a record order book of US$29.7 billion, it is expected to close 2025 above last year’s total and maintain double-digit growth across both commercial and executive segments.

The recent additions to its backlog in Latin America, Africa and North America point to broader geographic diversification, giving Embraer a stronger foundation as it heads into 2026.

For a manufacturer long known as the champion of “right-sized” aircraft, the third-quarter results reflect a period of stable delivery while the foundation is being laid for stronger growth in the years ahead.
