Embraer’s Phenom 300 series has retained its position as the world’s best-selling light jet for the 14th consecutive year, based on delivery data released by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). The figures also confirm the aircraft as the most delivered twin-engine jet globally for the sixth year in a row.

In 2025, Embraer delivered 72 Phenom 300-series aircraft, marking the highest annual output for the programme so far this decade. The type now counts more than 900 aircraft in service across 70 countries, with the global fleet surpassing 2.9 million flight hours.

The performance of the Phenom 300 series formed a significant share of Embraer’s Executive Aviation results for the year. The division closed 2025 with 155 total business jet deliveries, reaching the top end of its guidance and marking a new annual record for the business unit. Alongside the Phenom deliveries, the Praetor family accounted for 69 aircraft during the year, with the global Praetor fleet surpassing 400 aircraft delivered.

“The Phenom 300E continues to dominate the light jet category because it delivers what customers value most: unmatched performance, advanced technology, and an exceptional ownership experience,” said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. “Year after year, the Phenom 300E remains the benchmark in its class—reinforcing its leadership position and the trust our customers place in our brand. We are proud to celebrate yet another milestone in the ongoing success of the world’s most desired light jet.”

In performance terms, the Phenom 300E ranks among the highest-capability aircraft in the light jet segment.

It is the fastest light jet currently in production, with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.80 and a high-speed cruise of 464 knots. With a five-occupant range of 2,010 nautical miles (3,724 km) including NBAA IFR reserves, the aircraft is configured for regional and transcontinental missions within its category.

The aircraft operates at a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet and is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E1 engines, each delivering 3,478 pounds of thrust. Embraer highlights the type’s climb capability and field performance as central to its operational profile, alongside operating and maintenance economics positioned competitively within the light jet class.

Flight deck architecture is built around the Prodigy Touch Flight Deck, based on the Garmin 3000 avionics suite. The cockpit is certified for single-pilot operations and integrates automation features aimed at reducing pilot workload. Among the installed systems is the Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS), developed and certified for business aviation applications. The aircraft also incorporates autothrottle, Synthetic Vision System, and Emergency Descent Mode.

Several design elements typically associated with larger cabin aircraft are integrated into the platform. These include single-point refuelling, an externally serviced lavatory, and an integrated airstair. Such features are positioned to reduce ground handling complexity and support operational flexibility across varied airport environments.

Cabin configuration remains a defining feature of the aircraft. The Phenom 300E offers one of the larger baggage compartments in the light jet segment and incorporates large windows designed to increase natural light in both the passenger cabin and lavatory. Maximum cabin altitude is maintained at 6,600 feet, and the environmental system allows for differentiated temperature control between cockpit and passenger areas. Connectivity options include voice and data communications as well as entertainment system provisions.

The scale of the program now places the Phenom 300 series among the most established platforms in its category. With over 900 aircraft delivered and operating in 70 countries, the fleet footprint spans corporate operators, charter fleets, and owner-pilots. The cumulative 2.9 million flight hours reflect sustained utilisation across diverse mission profiles.

Within Embraer’s executive portfolio, the Phenom 300 series continues to serve as the primary volume driver, while the Praetor family expands the company’s presence in the midsize and super-midsize segments. The combined 155 deliveries in 2025 underline production stability across the product line, rather than reliance on a single program.

The 14-year leadership streak in the light jet category highlights the program’s consistency in annual output and market uptake.

The additional distinction as the most delivered twin-engine jet worldwide for six consecutive years reinforces its position not only within the light jet segment but across the broader twin-engine business jet category.

Backed by record Executive Aviation output and sustained demand, the Phenom 300 series enters 2026 with its production and delivery lead firmly established.
